Ost Legal’s dispute resolution team upholds the interests of Salavatneftekhimremstroy in a dispute with a leading shipper of oversized and heavy cargo – SV TRANS

SV TRANS was demanding the recovery from Salavatneftekhimremstroy of debt under a service agreement in an amount of over RUB 600 mln, stemming from the idling of oversized equipment at the Komsomolsky Refinery construction site.

The Moscow City Commercial Court rejected the bulk of SV TRANS’s claim. The claimant’s demand was qualified as the recovery of a penalty and reduced to RUB 120 mln.
