Ost Legal project included on IFLR1000’s list of the largest transactions in Europe

One of the most authoritative law-firm rankings – IFLR1000 – has once again recommended Ost Legal in the energy category. The firm’s Managing Partner, Vladimir Lipavsky, has been recognized as one of Russia’s leading experts in the energy and oil & gas industries.

The IFLR1000 notes as one of Ost Legal’s recent major projects its consulting of NIAEP Atomenergoproekt within the scope of construction of the MVM PAKS NPP in Hungary, defending M+W Germany GMBH in a major dispute with the customer stemming from the performance of an EPC(M) contract, and representing the interests of Nizhnevartovsk SDPP in arbitration against the contractor seeking the recovery of penalties in connection with non-performance on the contract for construction of the generating unit.

The ranking included Ost Legal in its tier-3 energy category. For the second year in a row, the firm is the only Russian legal consultant with such a high performance rating by the IFLR1000.
